HIDDEN DEESIDE TOUR – Half Day and Full Day
We will take you on a special route following the River Dee through a beautiful landscape where you will see ancient castles, a nature reserve, wild mountains, royal residences, gallows trees, stone circles and standing stones, mysterious carved Pictish memorials, clan cairns, a whisky distillery, the house where Robert Louis Stevenson’s enduring tale of pirates and parrots, ‘Treasure Island’, was written one wet Scottish summer (surprise, surprise), and a whole lot more.
An all-day excursion to the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, to visit sites from the ‘Outlander’ TV series and books. Plus, take a wonderful drive along the shores of the world famous Loch Ness and, if you wish, lunch or refreshments at some outstanding Highland restaurants.
ABERDEEN CITY TOUR – Half Day
A fascinating visit around the granite city of Aberdeen, also known as ‘The Silver City by the Sea’. At Old Aberdeen you can explore the ancient University which was founded in 1495, and see St Machars’ Cathedral before heading down to the wonderful golden sands beach on the North Sea and a chance to walk around the old fishing village of Footdee and see the dolphins.
